Hire a Native Plant

Native Plant Landscaping

Once established, a fully native yard will not require pesticides, fertilizers, herbicides, or water to thrive.

The less you do, the better.

The Pacific Northwest is also a native food hub; you can eat from what grows naturally here for at least nine months out of the year.

Free food that doesn't require any work other than harvesting.

Native plants create habitat for wildlife, pollinators, birds, and. butterflies.

LAWN REWILDING

Traditional farming is a monoculture-based practice requiring a lot of human intervention, i.e., chemicals, fertilizers, watering, etc.

This is very different from a true forest, where many plants of all different sizes and species grow together in one space.

A food forest mimics a natural forest to create an ecosystem for effective food production by layering plants to maximize sunlight and nutrient utilization.

This increases food production using less land and creates a habitat where plants, insects, fungi, and bacteria benefit from each other.

A healthy ecosystem has very few weeds, better water retention, slows erosion, and restores soil nutrients and beneficial organisms.
